My dad was a geologist, and had a huge passion for minerals and stones throughout my life. I would only want this urn if its natural. Is it a natural stone, or is the "tigers eye" mineral pattern a effect created through fabrication?

What kind of stone is it? And is it obviously coated or meant to look like tigers eye rather than it being naturally colored that way?
This is important because I want to represent his hobby/passion/career truthfully especially since this is where he will spend the rest of his time on this earth. ( William, 07/29/2025 )

I got this marble urn for my husbands ashes when he died in 2009. I have now made the decision that I want to spread my husbands ashes in places that meant a lot to us both. I purchase this urn from Niday Funeral Home in Houston Texas where we lived at the time. I am now in Jacksonville Florida. I cannot figure out how to get this urn opened. Do you have any suggestions?

You might contact the funeral home that filled it and inquire as to what they seal the urn with.
