Urns for sharing and scattering ashes are constructed from a variety of materials. Styles range from totally earth friendly biodegradable, to others that are made from fiber board with an opening that make it easy to disperse the ashes. We're also featuring some of the smaller size urns here for families that want to divide and share the ashes. Most of the sharing urns measure 6-8 inches in height, and will hold a couple of cups of ashes. Usually, these styles are sturdy metal containers and are decorative enough that to display in the home but could also be buried at a later date. Many of the metal urns come in a complete collection of traditional adult vase shapes, medium sized, small hearts, and minis. It just depends on your family's needs and desires. Some people may not care to have a keepsake urn but do want a small rememberance; if that's the case, cremation jewelry might be an option.
