Celtic Urn Ring and Wood Urn Strong Box

January 11, 2011 urngarden.com

If you are shopping for a cremation urn and want a small keepsake to go with it, a good combination is our Burl Wood Strong Box and maybe a piece of urn jewelry like a memorial ring.  The wooden chest doubles as either a cremation urn or memorial chest that you can store important papers, photos, keepsake urn or jewelry. Usually, the plastic container from the funeral home will fit inside the box. So, if you’ve been storing the ashes in the closet for awhile, you can easily slip the temporary container inside.

Cremation jewelry isn’t for everyone, but memorial rings have been around for hundreds of years. Now they have a modern twist with a small storage chamber for a tiny bit of ashes or lock of hair. The rings come in a variety of styles featuring classic teardrop and oval shapes as well Celtic knot design. Matching pendants are available in either silver or gold finishes.
