Fred Miller RIP

July 18, 2008 urngarden.com

fred miller

Fred Miller, longtime KY3 weatherman passed away yesterday in his home, he was 86. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to know Fred well, he retired shortly after I arrived at KY3, but like many other Ozarkers, I grew up watching Fred and had the pleasure of hearing his co-workers speak in the highest regard for this man. He was loved by all who knew him.

Thank you for your kind words about my Dad.
He certainly enjoyed gardening, and was working in his just weeks before passing away. We have green beans, limas, and tomatoes still to come that will remind us of his working the earth.
    Sincerely,
    Candace Colbert

Candace, deepest sympathies on the loss of your Dad. Sure wish I could have known him better, but I did have the pleasure of working closely with several of the old timers that shared many funny stories about your father.

I love that you’ll be able to enjoy the fruits of his labors! Truly, life in the garden! Thanks for sharing.
