The unicorn has both religious and mythical themes and is best known as a heraldry symbol on the Scotland royal coat of arms. The unicorn horn was thought to have both magical and medicinal properties and the nature of this mythical beast was was believed to be untameable and was often depicted with a broken chain around it's neck to symbolize that it had once again broken free. That's how we've chosen to portray our unicorn, powerful and free, rising up on it's back strong legs in a show of strength. Cast in designer resin, this sculpture has the look and feel of bronze, without the expensive price tag. This statue stands on it's own as a work of art, and has a felt lined base to protect furniture, but also could be paired with one of our inexpensive wood urns to create an affordable custom memorial. The urn can be buried later and the statue can be retained as a memento that doubles as a or home decor.
