$48.00

Christian and Jewish biblical scholars will appreciate this interpretation of the mysterious Ark of the Covenant cremation urn. Not a full size urn, this style is designed to hold a small amount of either human or pet ashes. This would also work for a family member that wants to retain part of the ashes as either a keepsake or to bury or scatter later.

Cast in bronze resin, the ark features hieroglyphics and symbols that we believe might have adorned the sacred vessel. Praying angels kneel on the lid that lifts for easy storage.

  • Ark Exterior: 7-3/4" L x 3" W x 5-1/4" H (measured to wing tip)
  • Ark Interior: 4" L x 2.5" H x 2.25" W
  • Volume: 10 cubic inches or a about a half cup of ashes.

Hello again, I recently bought the Ark of the Covenant Urn this morning and I have another question about it. I have couple more questions: 1) "What is the ratio of Bronze powder and resin used-is it 90% resin and 10% bronze powder?" How much Bronze powder was used? 2) Was a good/great quality of resin used to make this Ark Urn? I would like to know the quality of manufacture b/c I don't want to accidently bump it and break and/or shatter on me. So what quality of resin was used for this Ark Urn? The reason why I am asking about the strength and durability is because my dog died and I want to put his ashes in this and I don't want this Ark Urn to be cheaply made and break so easily. I do know that things break, especially if it's mistreated or misused, but with normal handling can you guarantee me that this will has the strength and durability to withstand any bumps if it should happen.

Hi Lou, so sorry about your pup. I understand your concerns. This urn is really well done and is actually quite heavy. However, as you know, resin is a breakable medium and if not placed in a safe place, it could be chipped or broken if dropped. I'm a sucker for ancient artifacts and fell in love with this is a "new" offering, I bought several to sample and was pleased with the quality and have received good response from our customers. My only concern with this urn are the long rails that extend out over the urn. They could break or chip if not placed in a safe place. Sorry, but I do not know the exact ratio on the resin blend. We have a fairly liberal return policy, if you are not satisfied, we will exchange or refund your purchase, we just ask that you contact us within 10 days of receiving the urn to make arrangements. Natually, the urn can not be filled and you are responsible for return postage. We may reimburse return postage and waive restocking fees if an exchange is desired. I hope that helps. Call me on Monday if you have further questions.
